Establishment of KINGS & QUEENS ACADEMY INC.: In September 2023, the first intervention of the foundation was the establishment of an academic school name and style “KINGS & QUEENS ACADEMIC INC.” in the Car Wash Community, Mount Barclay, Montserrado County. The school is legally registered by the government of Liberia and has an official permit to operate in Liberia. The school is currently from kindergarten to eighth (8) grade as of this academic 2025/2026 with an enrollment of 154 students. The classes will progressively increase each academy year to a junior and senior high school. KINGS and QUEENS ACADEMY INC was established in response to the basic education needs of the less fortunate, vulnerable, orphans who could not afford to pay high fees and tuition in schools due to lack of parental support. The school program is designed to encourage children to come back to school and also empower parents and guardians through the different programmes and services of the school. Mission-The mission of Kings & Queens is to provide educational services to all people in Liberia without any form of discrimination–Teach them to be faithful stewards in their homes, communities, nation and the world. Programmes of the school The school has five programs which will develop overtime. Ø Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education Ø Adult Literacy Program (ALP)/ Night School and skills training Ø Technical and Vocational Education Ø Leadership Training and Capacity Enhancement for Parents-Teachers Associations (PTA) leaderships Ø Academic Excellence Award, a one-year scholarship offers to the dux/highest average student for an academic year. Start & Grow Your Business Credit Program KIE-Foundation is a legal and registered Business Corporation under the business Laws of Liberia. The Foundation programs include Investment, Education, Microfinance, Health and sanitation, Leadership and Business Training, Real Estate Development, Agriculture and livelihood. The phase one of the foundation microfinance program is the Start and Grow Your Business (SGYB). This program aims to facilitate potential entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses by providing a minimum capital up to L$100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Liberia dollars) to a business in the form of credit with a reasonable and affordable interest rate that can be paid back. Enrollment in the program is based on the capacity of the business to deposit the amount of L$3,600 Liberian dollars weekly with the foundation. The weekly deposit will serve as guarantee that the business can save and at the same time grow |
